Jim
Knoll, CPA has over 20 years of experience providing tax and accounting
services. He has 17 years of experience using and consulting
on Peachtree and Quickbooks (certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor).
He particularly enjoys helping clients:

on taxes by taking every possible deduction and using proactive
tax planning
- Review financing options
for business and/or
home
Jim keeps abreast of not only the latest in accounting and tax practices,
business strategies, and personal financial strategies, but also in
leading edge, affordable, and proven technologies
that can help businesses compete and thrive by doing more with less.
That same drive to stay in front has led him to compete in the New
York, Chicago and the Twin Cities Marathons.
Jim graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota,
earning a Bachelor of Arts with emphasis in accounting. He has been
a member of the
American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA)
since 1989, the Minnesota Society of CPAs (MNCPA) since 1993, and North Dakota Society of CPAs (NDSCPA).
He also belongs to the National Federation of Independent Business
(NFIB), the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, and the Northwest
Optimist Club, a non-profit organization which provides community
services for teenagers.
Before coming to Minneapolis, Jim and his wife Colleen lived in Fargo,
North Dakota and in Boulder, Colorado.

Mark is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado. For over 16 years he has specialized in helping small and medium-sized businesses implement and use their Accounting Information Systems. He is a certified ProAdvisor for Quickbooks Financial and Point of Sale systems. His software experience includes MAS 90/200, BusinessWorks, Peachtree, and ACT. He also provides clients with tax preparation and accounting services.
Mark graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1979. He worked for a national CPA firm before joining J.M. Knoll's Minneapolis practice in 2003. In 2005 he moved his family to Colorado where he has been building the J.M. Knoll practice in beautiful Colorado Springs. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
